Holy Cross Ministries

Holy Cross Ministries serves low-income children ages 0-12 years old in Park City and provides the only Parents as Teachers home-visiting program in Summit County

Background

In 2000, Sister Mary Ann Pajakowski, CSC, identified a need in Summit County to provide out-of-school-time academic and enrichment activities for underserved children who couldn’t access the high cost extracurricular activities available in Park City. Holy Cross Ministries has been providing education programming ever since, adapting to the evolving needs of the community. To this day, Sister Mary Ann is still the Director of the Education at HCM, and oversees each of the following programs:

Park City After-School Program

HCM works in collaboration with the Park City School District to provide quality out-of-school-time programming for children in Summit County at Jeremy Ranch Elementary School, McPolin Elementary School, and Parley’s Park Elementary School.

Summer Camp Program

HCM works in collaboration with the Park City School District to offer an extensive Summer Camp program for children in Summit County to help combat summer learning loss.

School Readiness Program

HCM provides early education programming for children ages 0-3 yeras old through the School Readiness Program; which is composed of a home-visiting component, and a classroom for 3 year olds.
